 Over the past 13 years, Dan worked as a headhunter, corporate recruiter, resource manager and Business Development Manager for staffing agencies, consulting firms and Fortune 500 companies. He currently holds the CPRW (Certified Professional Resume Writer) accreditation awarded by the PARW (Professional Association of Resume Writers).

Dan began his career with Omega Technical Resources in Brookfield, WI. He recruited engineers for numerous clients including GE Medical Systems.

From there, Dan went to work at Argus Technical Services on Mayfair Road in Milwaukee, WI. Beginning in the skilled trades area, he recruited welders and machinists for local companies. Dan then moved into the technical area and began staffing engineering requirements  and later the Information Technology area.  At his one year anniversary, he placed his first SAP consultant with Cap Gemini.

This began the spin-off of GlobalSource IT, a subsidiary of Argus. Dan continued with the team in the role of Resource Manager, recruiting candidates through creative means. This led into extensive exposure to numerous companies to supply software consultants across the country.

In 2001, Dan moved into the Business Development market for consulting and software service companies. He worked closely with hiring managers across the country, cold calling accounts to secure interviews and placements for the consultants he represented.

In 2003,  Dan became the on site  representative at Miller Brewing for a New Jersey -based consulting firm. He interfaced with managers on a daily basis, presenting candidates for projects and walking them through the interview process.

In 2007, the opportunity came along to work for Rockwell Automation in their Talent Acquisition group. Dan had daily face-to-face conversations with hiring managers to determine their hiring process requirements and their expectations from candidates coming into the company.  Dan was asked by the Manager of North American Talent Acquisition at Rockwell to write training material on creative methods of recruiting candidates and building a professional network.

In late 2008, Dan left Rockwell and started the True Calling Group. Today, he is a full-time career consultant, writing and editing resumes, interview coaching and handling personal marketing for individuals in the tough job market.
